Component 3: Assessment of Traditional Knowledge and Adaptation Measures (FishTRAK)
FishTRAK aims to assess local awareness, cultural belief and community support system that leads to the development of indigenous climate risk adaptation measures of the target community. Resiliency of indigenous or traditional adaptation measures to long term effect of climate change will be assessed. This component will also assist on modelling the impacts of climate change based on historical events, cultural beliefs, and traditional adaptation measures. It also aims to generate useful information and suggest adaptive measures that could help policy makers in formulation management plans.
